Welcome! My name is Deidria Maky, and I’m thrilled to share my story and my passion with you. I’m a 53-year-old Black woman redefining what it means to chase your dreams, step into your power, and create something extraordinary.

As the youngest of eight children, I grew up in a world where resilience was non-negotiable, and faith was our foundation. Though we faced the struggles of poverty, my spirit was always rich with ambition, creativity, and the dream of something greater. I’ve always believed that our past doesn’t define us—it fuels us.

Today, I’m honored to turn that belief into a reality through this business.This brand is more than candles; it’s a celebration of Black excellence, elegance, and empowerment. Inspired by the tranquility of the beach and the bold beauty of luxury boho aesthetics, every candle is crafted to radiate light, love, and the undeniable strength of our culture.

As a proud mother to my brilliant daughter, this journey is about legacy—showing her, and others like her, that it’s never too late to bet on yourself. It’s about reclaiming independence, embracing self-love, and standing tall in spaces where we’ve historically been underestimated.
